Artisanal Blanket - Thhor Cactus

Inspired by the landscape of the Thar, this artisanal blanket features hand-crafted motifs of the Thhor cactus, interpreted in shades of green and white.

Each piece is made using traditional Raali (gudari) quilting, where over five layers of soft cotton fabric are stitched together using fine kantha embroidery. The surface brings together patchwork, appliqué and hand embroidery, creating a richly detailed textile with visible handwork.

Crafted by skilled women artisans of the Meghwal community, the blanket reflects a long-standing practice of quilting, embroidery and storytelling through textiles.

Lightweight yet comforting, it is designed as a children’s blanket — ideal for everyday use in AC rooms and warmer weather, offering the right balance of softness and breathability for daily snuggles.
