Hand quilted organic cotton playmat using traditional techniques with surface of hand-sewn applique and kantha work. The playmat is a traditional 'gudari' i.e. Raali which is hand-quilted by local ladies of the Thar region. It contains over 25 layers of fine cotton cloth that are quilted together using traditional techniques. It is breathable yet firm. Suitable for all weathers -- cooling in summers and warm in winters. Raalis are made to last and have hundreds of years of tradition and usage behind them. They have stood the tests of time. Diametrically wide for an enjoyable play time.
